At the Gateway to the Yarra Valley, 1 hr east of Melbourne is Mt Dandenong, Olinda village is the highest point on the famous Tourist Rd. (600mtrs, with occasional snow) At Arcadia we have four private cottages (voted among the top 10 in Australia by channel 9 "Getaway") set on 3 acres of mature gardens, opposite the National Rhododendron Gardens main gate and off the busy tourist rd, but within 300 mtrs of Olinda village with its many shops and approx 10 restaurants, A cool temparate rainforest environment awaits, things to see award winning gardens, Puffing Billy steam rail, Yarra Valley wineries.
